Hey Everyone,

So I was looking at our "regional stats" and noticed that 7% of us Kinstonians have donated! First of all, thanks so much to those who already have, I know I'm not really one to talk, since my profile isn't boasting a halo (yet - going home this weekend and hoping to convince the parents).

I know its hard to donate, but here's my train of thought, don't leave me yet.

How cool would it be if 50% of Kingston WriMos donated? That means 28 of us have to donate.
If we donate even 10$ each (just the 28) we are raising $280 to keep this wonderful institution up and running.

Think about it, 10$. It's not really that much.
- Instead of buying those frappicinos everytime you go to starbucks, buy the cheaper stuff. You will save about 10$ you wouldn't have had ANYWAYS
- Everytime you go to the lazy scholar (Queens students -I'm looking at you) you spend 8.75$ flex dollars for a meal. Are those wings REALLY worth it?

10$ really isn't that much. I know some of us may have difficulties with it, and if you can't, that's really okay. I'm not even sure if I can yet, I have to talk to my parents about it, but pleeease pleeaaaseee do at least give it serious consideration.

Has NaNoWriMo changed your life? Lets make sure it continues to change live, and put an end to the one day novelist forever.
Happy Writing!

Count me in! I've been trying to decide if I should buy a coffee (read hot chocolate) mug, or maybe some of those merit badges with my donation!

$8.75 at the Lazy Scholar?!? Pfft, try like almost $12. :P. That's why I'm fat, I guess.

Anyway, yeah, I've donated already, AND bought a Tshirt. I'm an overachiever I guess.

I totally wish they had just plain Nanowrimo buttons, not the merit badge ones.

Oh god, the Lazy Scholar. Haha. Source of all my woes.

I donated, but I really want the 2009 NaNo poster. But you can only get it with a $100 donation and I can't afford that much. Alas.

I'd like to, but I really can't afford a donation, and neither can my parents. :( So to all those who have, good on you!! :D
