Finally, after the infamous Halloween sleepover aftermath on the first day (because I'm too young to have a Halloween hangover) and then the "I don't even know what my novel is about" setback, and today's beloved "I think I'm getting sick" debacle, I have actually caught up! In fact, at 5,004 words, I'm actually three words ahead! Woohoo!
And so what if I just made my MC friends with a psychic out of nowhere, and I still have no idea what's going to happen next. Plots are for sissies, anyway.

I'm back on track, too. it took some doing, and I had to use the "change the color of what you want to delete" trick, but I got to the proper Day 3 word count. I'm trying to get a little ahead, but I just can't figure out how. I might skip the "escape scene" and move on to another part.

Right there with you guys! I was 150 words shy off the Day 1 goal and 600 words shy of the Day 2 goal, so last night I did a marathon writing session and wouldn't allow myself to go to sleep until I hit the 5,001 word mark. It worked! Sure I stayed up until 1AM but hey i'm at 5,100! Now just to continue this trend for Day 4 and so on!

After having been behind, working hard and not believing I was capable of writing so many words in the time despite having enough actual time but just usually working so much slower, I have broken the barrier and am now on target before breakfast!!! Woot! Woot!! Wooooot!!!
I might even manage to do this crazy thing!
