ok, looking at the calandar thing I see that there are write in's up at Newcastle every week, but unfortauntely I cant actually make it to any of them due to money restraints this month.
So I was wondering if anyone fanficed a midweek meet up in Hartlepool? I was thinking maybe next Wednesday and either starting in cafe rapor and ending the evening in a pub (no idea which one) or there are a couple of other options.
So, yeah, let me know.

If you're having another write-in in Hartlepool then me and Bel (MLs for Darlo) would be interested in coming along. Wednesday could clash with our Darlo meeting though...depends what time it is at.

I can certainly make it to an afternoon meet, just for the therapeutical value, you undersatnd.. I may have to leave my brain at the local labs for analysis though. Let's have a suggested time....

ok, here is a suggested time... Gonna give you two so that we have a couple ot go along with.
1: Tuesday 10th from 1pm onwards meeting in Cafe Rappor and then moving on to whereever we want to, if we want to, afterwards.
or
2: Thursday 12th from 1pm onwards meeting in Cafe Rappor and then moving on to whereever we want to, if we want to, afterwards.
cafe rapor doesnt have internet, but it does have two plug socets for those of us who are attatched by the hip to our laptops (that would be me) and I am pretty sure not having the internet would actually be a bonus, that was we wont get distracted by the evil twitter and the plotting lolcats.
So, I am good for either of those dates.

Tuesday would be ideal for me. How does everyone else feel about it?

Tuesday at whatever time I said works for me :D I should be at around the 70k mark by then :) and killing characters off, and you may even get to see my cry (cos I cry when I kill my characters) depending on how much I actually get done this weekend.
I shall probs be at the coffee shop from about half hour before we start, and you'll be able to tell me from the huge silver laptop, the huge silver crash helmate (it will be on the floor not my head) and I even have a NaNo sticker on my laptop now as well :D

In the last email from the Darlington region we gave out the wrong address for the Hartlepool meeting tomorrow. The Hartlepool meeting will be at Coffee Rapport on York Road, Hartlepool on Tuesday 10th at 1pm. Sorry for any confusion this may have caused.
The Middlesbrough meeting will be going ahead as advertised on Friday 13th (!) at 1pm, venue TBA - please check the forums for updates, and we will send out an email as soon as we know where it is going to be held.
Sorry for any confusion we may have caused, and happy novelling!

the meeting was fun :) there were three of us, that seems to be the magic number for the hartlepool NaNo meetings. and we actually remembered to get some writing done as well, which is always a plus.
so now I am going to go give up for a couple of days. well, I will probs write something over the enxt couple of days, but at the moment it may not be more than a couple of thousand words.
anyway, enough of that. the meeting was fun and we shall ahve to see about another one in a couple of weeks if anyone is interested.
