Either that or Im finding more ways to procrastinate!
I LOVE having a word limit to make each day, for a set period. Rather than just spending 2 hours writing 700words, full of editing, I love thinking to myself "No, I need to have another 2000 words" and I actually get it done!
So, in the spirit of keeping a fire under me, and cos I love looking at that graph on my NaNo Stats, Ive made my own Excel spreadsheet up, complete with graph!
From now on, and for the rest of my novels, Im going to use this as a way to get to my targets! Ive made it 2000 words a day, for 2 months. I know it doesnt have to be that big, but I figured its a good way to keep me writing for my fantasy novels. And if it goes over, then I can always split it into series. :)
So, what have you been inspired to do, other than just write? How have you procrastinated, but assured yourself it was a good thing!? :)

I just need to keep above the purple line and I'll be sweet. I've set all different things - red line for my original 1667 words a day goal... green for my newly amended based on days one and two words + 1667 words a day. purple for my ideal 2000 words a day, and blue for what I am... If i get any where near the red line, I know I'm in trouble.
I'm also still compiling my nano playlist in itunes
not sure if these things constitute inspiration so much as procrastination.

When I write (whether fiction or software), I find that I'm inspired to be a lot more creative, and so my garden has been the focus of my attention prior to Nano starting, and for the five days I had no computer at home..
Weeding, planting, raking, and generally sweating in the wonderful sunshine we've been blessed with over the last few weeks, now that is inspiring!

You've called out a challenge, and my geek blood is responding.
I might create a web service, while sitting at work, and publish it for people to utilise..

I have to say I'm inspired by my story right now, too. I thought I would have an issue reaching wordcounts even this early on, because I find it difficult to get the time to write for any length of time. But what I've found is when I do get the chance to write, I'm not getting any writer's block - AT ALL. I put it down to more motivation, and Scrivener.
As for gardening - my garden is getting better, daily. I love it.
