I was just wondering, is anyone on this region-y thing-y (beware my great word use, bwahaha) a kid (13-17 -ish)? I just kind of wanted to see how many other teens are actually doing this.

I know of two other 15 yr olds participating, one of which is my son. While I can remember my own son's name, the young lady's name, that we met at the kick-off party, has fallen into the cracks of my brain that old age hath wrought.

Ah, that's okay. I just feel a bit better knowing that I'm not the only teen around these parts trying it.

If I'm not mistaken, her name is Alissa. Alas, my memory seems to have gone astray as well.

Actually its my son's third year, while only my second year. He got done 6 days early last year, while I was only 2 days early. I'm gonna beat him this year, I hope. Actually he talked me into doing it last year.

Oh, and good luck beating your son this year, DeanJohnson!

Interesting. I probably don't know him then, because I'm a junior and don't hang out with many sophmores. But he should stop by my luch table if he has 5th hour lunch. It's first circular one past the mentally handicapped table. Should be fairly easy to find, it'll have a huge crowd around it.

I'm 13 and I was gonna do this, but... I have no time for roleplaying, much less novel writing. D:

You should atleast try and see how far you can get. Practice makes perfect, even if you don't hit the 50k point.
