Hi, everyone!
4 days into Nano and I haven't seen any posts about meetups. This will my first Nano in Puerto Rico, last year I was in Florida and we had meetings twice a week and it was a LOT of fun. You could average 1500 words each meetup which was really helpful.
Cofee shops are customary meet up places and there aren't many cofee shop varieties except a few Starbucks and the place at Borders. I'm closest to Rio Hondo, but I'm good at switching places since it's all not that far all in all.
Anybody up for this Thursday/weekend?

I would love to meet up with everybody but my laptop is currently... well the screen is black. I had to buy a cable so I can watch it in my t.v... So I'm stuck here. I could, however send you my best wishes and billions of letters so we can all reach 50K before the end of the month. Or I could grab a notebook and get there but I'm lazy.

So far everyone picked either Borders Cafe or Starbucks Rio Hondo so one of these should be our first locale. Both places get amazingly full during Saturdays so earlier is probably best.
I vote for Starbucks Rio Hondo 10:30AM or 11AM, Saturday the 14th.

I can go to pretty much every single place mentioned. You forgot to mention the Starbuscks near Plaza Las Americas, which it's on the same road where Colegio Universitario de San Juan and El Choliseo are. There's also the Starbusks before Los Paseos just beside Universidad Interamericana Metro which it's a pretty gd one too, I'm actually going there to write, but lately I've being procrastinating too much! LOL XD so this meetings gd for me, I can go on Saturday as long as it's that time you said cause I have work at 6pm :( sadly. But if it's that time of hour I'll be able to make it. Also, we should like get each other's number or something just in case someone needs help w direction or know that we're on our way? Cause technically we dunno each other so we wont know who's who unless we call each other and say what part we're sitting and such. So, jic my number is 598-7204. The Cold Stone I'm saying it's the one in Rio Hondo right next to the Movies. But anways, I'm thinking that we should change it to Borders Cafe in Plaza las Americas, theres a bit more space there but it has to be early I guess, like around 12 pm at least cause that place get's sort of crowdy and they always take the gd tables T.T Like I said I'm gonna make a lil sign that will say "NaNoWriMo in Progress" just in case people who hasnt contact me it's interested at the end. So that'll make us 4 plus my brothers if they also wanna tag along yet again...so, 6 people.
Come on people! PM me with your cellphoned so we can stay in contact! We can make this a true journey! I haven't met any other writers here in P.R. and I guess this is an opportunity to make friendships and stuff! ----------I made a HUGE mistake I thought the 21st was SUNDAY when it's actually Saturday! I can't on Saturday so it's CANCELLED if you think it's today!!! We're goin on Sunday and I think it migt be better for some people too to go that day since mostly people have it free (unless u like working it for double wage...if that still even exist in this damn country...). Anyways so yeah, MEETING ITS ON SUNDAY @ BORDERS CAFE AROUND 12 PM - 1PM if I can be there all day I will! So, see you guys there and sorry for the misunderstanding! Thank God Myka texted me. This is the main reason why I wanted you guys to give me ur numbers so I cold txt u jic there were any changes.
