Hey everyone! I was wondering if the Houston area had some sort of online write-in set up, or whether anyone would be interested in such a thing? I think it would be super helpful for those of us who like writing at night and find ourselves in need of encouragement or a friendly word war or two. What do y'all think? |

Skype might work too... with just voice it'd be pretty fast. :) And the Te House inner loop write-in just finished up half an hour ago, so they do go a little late.

I'd be interested. I was feeling a bit sick tonight, so we cut out early. Tinychat is a good idea. I would suggest posting a blog the morning before you actually get it going, that way people know when to have their internet ready. But, yea...I'm totally game.

Tinychat is a good idea, especially if we decide on a name and stick to it throughout. That way once we set up 'general hours' people can come and go as they please without worries.

I like the idea, it may be the only way I can do a write in, since I pretty much have to take my kids anywhere I go! I tend to be a real night owl, so it would work for me at night, after the kids are in bed. Let me know, I'll be there.

@lonelyfilly I'm a night owl too, so I'll definitely be around. Knight_Z and I are doing a write in on aim (we were on tinychat, but moved), if you're interested. You can come poke me on username 'laifana', and we can set up a group chat. If AIM doesn't work for you, we can try something else?

It might be a little late for everyone now, but Knight Z and I were planning on starting an AIM chat for word war/encouragement purposes.
If you don't want to download the program, an alternative is to use meebo.com. You can sign in on AIM as well as use groupchat through it :)
