I'm just curious to see if there are any high school or college Wrimos in this region!

I'm a senior in high school (this is my second year doing Nanowrimo), and of course I feel ridiculously childish compared to everyone else.

Don't be a silly goose! You're not a "child" in this region, you're a writer! That puts us all on equal footing.

From what I know, we have at least four high schoolers here on the boards, yourself included, and you are not the youngest participant of the region. Come on out, little bits!

Teehee. Imagine how I feel, then, since I'm only a measly little freshman!
It's good to know there's someone around my age group, though! I also have... three? Four? friends in my grade doing NaNo. Whether they're signed up for CT North or not remains a mystery.

Why, thank you.

I'm also a senior in high school, but I've seen some fourteen-year-olds on these boards. Makes me wish I heard about this place sooner. xD

It's my first NaNo, but somehow I'm still under the impression that I'll pull it off. Between schoolwork and sleep though, I'm not so sure the sleep thing is going to happen. Oh well, I can sleep through December!

This is my first year (though I did attempt to write five short stories last November) and I'm a junior in high school!

Don't feel childish! We're all kids at heart. *plays a heartwarming balled that tells of strength and love*

I wish I had tried to earlier, but I'm glad for this opportunity. My school work could be going better, but hey, I'm over 10K- you can't have everything! (I had mono, and I'm trying to make up a month of school's work and write 50K. I'll tell you how that goes, if I keep my mind this month!)

Good luck to everyone! We need some younger writers for the next generation. You're part of the next generation. How does that feel? *happy dance*

Don't feel bad! I'm a senior too and this is my first year. Let's all work hard and try to beat the other regions! :)

16, high school senior. Out of curiosity, anybody here in the Middletown area?

Also, I know of absolutely nobody around me doing this. Regardless, it's fun. Nice to see a few other people my ageish with drive. Though I may require someone to come by and kick me on occasion to get me to stop procrastinating and write.

I'm 14, and a freshman. This my first year doing NaNoWriMo, and I have... two friends do it, I think. I'm looking forward to meeting you all!

I am new to Middletown =) I'm loving it. Once I get back from vacation, I'll toss out there when I'm hacking away at my plot at Javapalooza!

You know, I've never been to Javapalooza...I should probably at some point check that place out, perhaps I'll see you there.
