No way I'm leaving that early! I'm hoping to put in at least two good hours, if not a bit more. Tonight will be a bit of a wash: drove from work (Oliver) to my friend's house (Maple Ridge) and it took me 5.5 hours due to trucks, weather and accidents. Longest commute yet. So...might not get too motivated tonight. We'll see.
Anyone else willing to sit through NaNoWriMo torture in public on Sunday?

There is a good chance I may drop by. I'm feeling much better now, and I'm no longer contagious. My daughter says she will probably come with me if I go. Any time is good for me, so 3pm is fine. Does anyone know what time Fibonacci closes?

Looking forward to meeting you there, S. Okanagan NaNoWriMo folks!
Took the evening off yesterday, but back at it tonight (hopefully) if my characters ever show up. They're hiding from me right now, little rats.
See you tomorrow afternoon!

Good news, my boss has redone the sched. and changed it, without informing anyone and without notice, something she's actually becoming famous for. I'm still coming but I'm not off until 4 now. But, Like I said, I'm right down town, so that means I can be there right at 4, pretty much. Hopefully this doesn't throw too much sand in the vasoline. Hopefully people will still be there? See ya then.

Has anyone warned the coffee shop management/staff that we will be meeting there? I'm guessing there will somewhere between four and seven writers attending? How much room do they have, and how many outlets?

No I don't think they've been warned, had we been a bigger group I would have gone down there but right now we're talking 6-ish people? Maybe less. Last Sunday we were pretty much alone in there. There's plugs down one wall, I put a ext. cord in my lap-top bag, so we don't hog all the outlets.

Great meeting everyone today - thanks! I enjoyed that. Next time I'll be my own chauffeur so I can stay without feeling a wee bit guilty that the boy would have to entertain himself. :)
Got 20,000 words tonight - and going to keep going while the plot is chugging along.
Will post a new thread for another meeting soon...I'm off work Wednesday for the stat (that government job thing), and would be interested in a big push to write if anyone else is. Maybe we can take over some other public space, with warning if it's going to be a longer one.
Happy writing, NaNoWriMo-ers!
