Several of my friends and I have challenged ourselves to goals above and beyond 50,000. Why? because we can...

so it'd be cool if we could set our own goals. For example, I have a friend whose goal is 100,000 instead of 50,000. So basically the graph that's there right now doesn't show her what word count goals she really needs to show. The default would be 50,000, but if you wanted you could be able to set it higher?

I know that the graphs aren't a huge part of the writing process, but as an overachiever going for 80k this month it'd be nice to have my daily wc needs somewhere other than just at my calendar. The "NaNo Stats" part is quite possibly one of my favorite parts of this site.

The goal is 50,000 and I don't think that's going to change :) Not even half the participants manage to hit 50,000 after all!

However, if you would like to see different abilities available, I would suggest donating! We already don't really have enough money so far to keep the site running as it is, let alone add in more things...

You're 15, right? Then if you'd like to set your own word count goal... the YWP offers this option! You're welcome to set your own goals there. We don't have any plans to change the goals here, that I'm aware of.
