Hello! Anyone want to join me for a classy tea shop write in tomorrow afternoon at Leland Tea?
The shop is on Bush Street between Van Ness and Polk. They serve tea and tea related food, no coffee.
It's a great spot to hang out, I'm thinking of getting there around 2 PM and hanging out for a few hours.
I'll hopefully be at the big community table but if that's taken there are smaller tables towards the back. I'll make some sort of sign.

I love the idea of a tea shop and I love the idea of an afternoon write in. I'm not sure if I can make tomorrow, but will try. I live in Noe/Glen Park area.

This is my first year and I have not been to a write-in yet.
Thanks for thinking of it. I hope for more morning, afternoon gatherings.

Well, it would be lovely to see/meet you tomorrow if you can make it.

Seeing as how I love tea and I love class, this write-in seems right up my alley! You can count me in, I'll be there around then, and I'm looking forward to it.

That sounds lovely! Thanks for proposing this.

I work right around the corner, but won't be off until 5:30. It doesn't sound like you'll want to be there that late, but I'll stop by anyway to write and see if anyone is still around. I'm always up for discovering a new tea shop!

Count me in at Leland on Friday. Hopefully, I'll have Asylum Cat in tow. Timing will be interesting. Do they have anything caffeinated there at all?

I'm done with a conference presentation, and about to enter a torpor of the damned.

Hello there :D first time wrimo here. The write in sounds pretty cool. I might have the time :) I'll try and make it if I gather to courage to head over. I don't know how productive I'd be to be honest. :D I'm such a slow writer. :3

I am really disappointed that I won't be able to make it tomorrow. I don't even like tea, but it looks good enough to change my mind about that. And as I've been working nonstop this week, I'm waaay behind in word count. So, I could use the community.

Yes, tonydg, but does it have enough caffeine?

Now Serving Lunch, torpor is, in Anne Rice era vampire parlance an extended period of stasis typically brought on by a lack of feeding, but often invoked to escape a crapsack era. I'm not sure if Rice, herself used the term torpor or if it was coined in the White Wolf Masquerade though Lestat emerged from a torpor at the beginning of his namesake novel.

In my case, big conferences and conventions wear me out, and I'll sleep extended periods after returning from one.

I should show at Leland around 3ish.

Dude, you weren't lame.

I won't be available tomorrow. Sunday is iffy, but a possibility. Monday, I'll set up an early afternoon Write-in if nothing else surfaces.

Hi kfg, I'm working on creating a new google calendar right now. Because I was a last minute ML, I don't have the ML bible that would have explained all this. But Lindsey from Nano HQ is walking me through the process and I hope to have it up and available for everyone very soon.
