Just wanted to know if I was the only person here in Elsewhere, Indiana who's from the land of Starbucks and no roundabouts :P

I used to, in fact I learned to read and write at the public school there on the top of the hill. I was in Miss Smiths first grade class ( 1954 I think). I lived in a house next to the Methodist church-it is gone now, I am sure. Oh the Zionsville UMC is there but moved to another place.. Like me, I have moved to another place. A couple of others in Indiana, and now in Oregon where I nano as Phoebe, the name of the moon around Saturn.
don't be lonely about being so few in zionsville.

It is all really rather strange the way characters and places pop out from the muse. but this year I found myself floating down the Sugar Creek, in Turkey Run state Park. I have been there sometime before 196o and I always wanted to get back but never have-until this week in the novel. Perhaps I have some unfinished business in Hoosier land and I need to step back and tale a look? Perhaps there are the family ghosts that I need to seek out. Or just touch base? It would be far easier If I could find a Sugar Creek here in Oregon. Shall we take a look in goggle maps? I will let you know.
