I can't make the Write-Ins thanks to work schedule, and I'm now behind the curve.
I do, however, have the idea still in mind, and a quadruple-digit word count.
Is anyone here up for doing a NaNoWriLunch between 1 and 2 at Carrboro's Looking Glass (near Town Hall, next to Cycle 9)? I'm at work for 12 hours a shift on M, W, and F, and have been trying to write during lunch to mitigate the fact that I have no time to write.

I can now attest to its excellence; definitely going to be here MWF 1-2 through the month. I have latched onto a system of stickies to peel for every 100 words, and it's keeping me on track so far.

Chin up, sounds like you are doing great so far!
I also can't make the official write-ins due to my work schedule...and my computer just meant a tragic end, so everything I had started on is gone.
