Hello, folks!

I was just wondering if there would be any interest all in having a write-in or two at the Angel Falls in Highland Square?

Let me know and we can work out a day and time!

Eep! Sorry. It's in Akron, basically centered around Portage Path, W. Market, and Merriman. It's a very short drive from downtown Akron. :-)

Just as an FYI, we had one of our write-ins at Angel Falls last year and it was a very tight squeeze. We had a few good chuckles over the fact that we were practically sitting on strangers' laps. I love Angel Falls, but if you decide to have one there, uh, wear plenty of deodorant.

Hmm, that's a good point. Thanks for the heads up! Well, there's always the library and such, if there's anyone from the area...

I might be up for it depending on the day and time.

Angel Falls does look like it'd be a tight squeeze, too bad its cold already or we could've been outside!

Hi, Carly

I'd be all for something at Angel Falls since I live right down the street. Maybe since the Hudson NaNos are meeting on Saturday, we organize something for a weekend like they have?

Let me know and I'll put it on the calendar.

Carly and Mad Hatta,

The Akron Writers Group used to meet there and I agree with Coffeegirll that it can be a tight squeeze in the evening and on weekend, depending on what time we plan something. But it's worth a try if it ends up only being a few of us. Throw out a date and time and we'll see what happens!

How about Sunday afternoonish? Is that a good day/time for everyone? Other than this Saturday and the next, Saturdays are also good for me, so if that's better than we could do that.

I can't make it this Sunday but how about if we schedule all Sundays (including this one), 3 p.m. - 4 p.m.? Would that work or were people thinking earlier, like 1 p.m.?

I can put them on the calendar.

sundays are fantastic. I might be there a bit early, but I'm good with whatever the consensus may be.

I didn't get there this week, may be moving... So next weekend may be out too. But I'll try to catch up with everyone at some point.
