I wanted to go to the write in, but with the weather being bad, and a sicky boyfriend at home, I decided to head on home after work. D:

I am nowhere near 15K, but I'm anticipating being there sometime this month. Just wanted to say that it was a very fun write-in tonight. Jennifer and I had a good laugh and we got a bit of writing done...and some other very important stuff.

Hoping I can make it to the library next Thursday. I am off work at 5 at the CH library, so I can zip over. Do you guys meet in the room upstairs?

Hi!
We actually meet in the large meeting room that is downstairs. It's the room adjacent to the kids book section. If you are standing looking at the kiddie section it is a door to your immediate left.
Hope to see you there!

I used to work at the Centralia library back when they were open on Sundays (did that for 4 years).

Just made it to 15K tonight, thanks to a big glass of wine! Now I'm going to watch a bunch of episodes of The Office to relax!

My daughter just saw Rainn Wilson at UW. She enjoyed him.

I really need to write, and it's just not happening!

Got my 15003(exactly) at the end of a chapter and I'm off to bed. Gotta work tomorrow. We had a fantastic acting workshop at Matrix on Sunday and I thought I wouldn't be able to catch up but humor help me make it through. Bad, cheesy humor, I admit...but I'm not complaining.

Crawled over the line myself while at the Matrix write-in. Had a nice little breakthrough on how to torture my characters further :D

Now, for the sprint to 20k!

Eeek, eeek, eeek. I barely made it over the line...is it possible to limp with two feet? I am absolutely, positively, sure that this was easier last year. yep positive. course I didn't know what the heck I was doing last year,..maybe that's why...on to twenty...eeek, eeek, eeek...

this is a thirty minute and eleven words later add on to the above...

Call out..."Inner editor, go to sleep. Seriously. I'm warning you!!!"

Second year is always harder, it's not just you. Third year gets easier.

Thanks for the encouragement, Katrina. I'll admit it. I can't even handle of the thought of next year... shudder...I'm taking it one bit at a time...and nearing 20K...that green line is getting farther and farther away, but at least my story is going well...so far...but slow...

Oops. Didn't meant to discourage you about next year!!! I thought this WAS your sophomore year. Sorry!

You're doing fine though. Just keep pushing. And remember, whatever words you write this month are words you wouldn't have written if you hadn't done Nano, regardless of whether or not you win.

Which is not to say you shouldn't try to finish! It's a great feeling! But I find it easier to finish when I take some of the pressure off and remember that not "winning" Nano isn't failing, not by a long shot!

Good luck.
