i want it gone. It bugs me and the graphs are so small to begin with that sticking even more stuff in there makes it harder to read. Is there a way to make it go away?

for some reason i cant edit my post. Honestly i find the daily gold thing very disheartening. I am behind. i know i am. I don't need my graph reminding me every time i look at it. It just makes me feel bad about being behind. If there is not a way to take it off i would highly suggest trying to make it an option.

It's not currently an option, no. Maybe next year if there's enough donations :) Currently there's not enough to keep NaNo running, it's only when the basics are paid for that they can think of changing the site and its abilities.

Good luck with your NaNo. I find word wars work best to inspire me to keep writing. I hope you feel more inspired soon :)

I would like to make a suggestion for next year, if funding is available. Even if the option is not there to turn off the daily goal (which I find helpful), it would be nice if the daily goal were in a lighter gray. The current color scheme is a bit difficult to read. The dark gray interferes a lot with the ability to read the word count for each bar (especially since the word count is shown in the same dark gray). Thank you for considering this.

I definitely agree. The current graph color choices make it unreadable.

actually, i like the daily goal charts, they help me because otherwise i'd have no idea where i should be in my novel without doing the math... which i do enough of at school.

unfortunately, when i open the tab "nano stats", it displays an empty area! it's really frustrating. my word count and everything else is working smoothly, but that one tab isn't showing up.

i wish we could switch accounts and make everyone happy!

Hmm. I just checked yours, and your graph is showing fine on mine. do you have flash player installed?

I *think* this is an issue with how the graphs are rendered on IE due to a minor problem with div tags on the page.

What I have found is that if I scroll down as far as I can on my My NaNoWriMo page before I switch over to the NaNo Stats tab (essentially, scroll low enough that the regional graph will be visible on the page when I switch), it *usually* shows both graphs fine. If, however, the regional graph would be below the screen when I switch to NaNo Stats, it shows mostly off the screen.
