I was just glancing around our East Valley posts and thought some of you would like http://1stTurningPoint.com. It's a new marketing forum for unpublished, published, epublished, orphaned authors focused on building name recognition and establishing a platform. I help run things behind the scenes and have learned a ton about self promotion and publishing overall. Nov. 11th Dorchester Publishing Editor and Website Director, Leah Hultenschmidt's interview with me on promotion will appear, too.
I thought if there are any Nanowrimo success stories out there among us, I could showcase one on the site, too. Anyone know of someone? It can be anything from getting published to making the word count cut under extreme circumstances.
I'm happy to say I'm only a day behind my word count. I've never been to a write in, though. Can anyone tell me how it works?
