Hey guys! Week two will be upon us before we know it, and sometimes week two needs a bit of a kick in the head. We plan to accomplish that with tasty, tasty alcohol. (Or non-alcoholic beverages and nachos, whichever works for you.)
We're going to be at the Druid, 11606 Jasper Avenue NW, Edmonton, Alberta, at 8:00pm on Tuesday, November 10th. We're hoping that lots of you have Remembrance Day off and will be free the night before to enjoy some tipsy writing with us! (Drinking is not required, but being over 18 is, as this event is being held at a bar.)
We have one of the Druid's little room thingies reserved, so come on down and join us for a super relaxed and casual write-in. There might be word wars, there might not be - we'll see how we feel. But you'd be amazed what a little liquid courage can do for your word count! As Karen says, we'll be there until all we can type is bbbbbbbbbbbbbb.
Please RSVP in this thread if you'll be there! And bring a few dollars for some snacks and beverages, whether of the boozy variety or not.

I AM SO COMING TO THIS. And I think I'm finally over the falling-down-on-Karen incident of the inaugural event a couple years ago and I should have the 11th off, and so plan on consuming more than one adult beverage. :D
I suppose the real question is... is Karen over the Crystal-falling-on-her incident? (I still feel really bad about it, as I honestly don't even remember doing it and I wasn't even drunk enough to be at the "what happened last night" stage.)
