Besides having only an hour and twenty minutes left to hit my 2k quota for the day and not really having written anything today... I went with my mother to see a DJ Ossewa concert...

My mother jokes that it helps me connect with my culture... I think I've had enough of my culture for this year *blinks*

Lots of -stuff- swinging, people "rowing", talk of cake and milk and wors and koeksusters which wasn't food related... It was a bit too much. I feel the need to go hide in a hole until I recover... if I ever do.

Oh and with the new hairdo and NOT looking like a tart, I got a helluva lot of weirded out looks. Needless to say, I did NOT fit in... Since when have my people gotten so 'plat'???

**pet pet**

Mock them all in your book. I know I'm getting around to it sometime soon. After my two MCs have had their lunch to discuss how the socialite ended up with the dead hooker in his bed. The other MC is the cop investigating the case. They also have the hots for each other. I think. Its not quite clear yet.

lol, *Sympathyses*
I went to something like that when I was travelling and working my way through the UK and Aus. I felt sort of morally obligated to go and everytime walked out with the feeling of:
"Heck, if that's my culture, then i'm probably Brittish..."

I agree! Mock them in your book! :P Doesnt have to be serious mocking, but a little will make you feel better :P Or make one character from a certain culture and give em a hard time haha
