Thanks to the generosity of Dixie, our Sunday afternoon write in will be taking place at 5500 Ming Ave, Suite 240. The name of the business is Transforming Local Communities and is on the northwest corner of Ming and New Stine (next door to the Olive Garden), at the top and to the left of the outside stairs.
Since we will have access to kitchen-y things like a sink, coffee maker, toaster, fridge, and microwave, I would like everyone to bring something snack food-ish to share, if possible. (If you can't, don't worry!) It will be a fabulous writing potluck!

I totally want to go, but I'm not one of those cool, trendy people with a laptop. I might have one to borrow soon-ish, but not in time for this one.
But eventually, I hope!

Hey, no reason not to come along anyway. Call it a break from writing. Come and meet some people, talk for a few minutes about how your month is going along (there's always some banter before folks get settled down to work) and eat some snacks.
You can even bring a spiral notebook and write with us for a while, if you don't mind retyping what you write when you get home. Or plan the scenes you'll write over the next week, whatever.
Don't let the hardware keep you from enjoying the write-in part of the experience if that's what you want to do.

Cool! I'll keep it in mind. It's no secret that I have a bountiful collection of spiral notebooks. I know I don't want to miss out on the opportunity to get together, so I guess I shouldn't use technology as an excuse.
I'll try to get down there.
