Ever heard of DeviantART.com? It's for visual artists as well as writers. A group of writers put together a chatroom specifically for NaNoWriMo!
If you don't already, I totally suggest at least visiting the chatroom there. It rocks; there's Word Wars, you can find motivation, sometimes inspiration, or just hang out there with others of the same interest, chatting up a storm on breaks between writing. It's a great place for NaNoers to meet up [virtually speaking] and hang out, even have mini contests to get your words flowing!
In case you haven't an account, or just don't know how to find the chatrooms on Deviantart, I've put together a few screenshots with arrows where to go. [DeviantART has so many options available, that it's sometimes difficult to find what you're looking for - especially when you're not used to their layout.]
Step One: Bear in mind my page is customized; if you haven't this button there where it shows on my screen, go to the double arrows on the far right. There will be a drop down menu and you can find the chat that way.

Step Two: Couldn't help but to doodle. I had the tablet, so...temptation couldn't be refused, so endure my crappy cartoon ^^
This is basically to show what the chatrooms look like, and in case you have a hard locating it, I circled it. Because i've been the ditz enough to miss it several times.
