For those of y'all that can't make it out to 3rd St tonight, I thought I'd start a thread to keep you in the loop. Update #1: I am at 3rd St, sitting in a comfy chair. In front of me is a NaNo Table sign, so if y'all don't know who you're looking for, look for that. Writing will commence in 19 minutes. |

Update #2: Afterthief, crimsonglade, BiancaLynne, and I are here with tons of other people who may or may not be writing novels. There are knitters, and coders, and people playing with Shrinky Dinks! I have written just over 2100 words since I have been here. I just started my second cup of coffee, so let's go warp speed typing!!

Update #5: I've written 4100+ words tonight, and still going strong. Through sheer exuberance, DruDreams won the caffeine challenge. Her tea is steeping right beside me, and it smells YUMMY! I am almost regretting my choice to go with coffee this evening. But you know how it goes, tea before coffee, life is toffee! Coffee before tea, woe is me!
Okay, I might be overcaffeinated, and I might have just made that up.

I love the Animaniacs!! That was awesome, Neal!! I definitely prefer that to the original since my first name being Samantha put me into the Sam I Am thing for so many years. It is one of the reasons I now go by Drew instead.

It is 6:24 and I hit 11888 words. I think it is time to call it a night and make my way home before I end up falling asleep on the way to my car. I'm glad I got to see everyone that came out tonight and had a blast talking to you guys!!! Especially Renee, Betsy and Neil! You guys Rock!

You all are amazing! Next time, I will try to break my umbilical cord to the bar and mosey on into the comfy couch room. Might I suggest somewhere like Common Grounds sometime too...they have TWO couches, TWO comfy chairs, and like way more rooms....
