This is my first NaNo at age 19. I didn't hear about NaNo until the end of last year's session, when one of my former classmates was participating. It inspired me to participate once I had time, and now I have time.
I'm writing the story of a princess that's a little too cooped up in her castle. She finally flees the castle after an attempt on her life and becomes a bounty hunter, similar to what her mother was before she married the current king. She travels with one of the sons of the neighboring kingdom's king, yet is unaware that the amulet around his neck is draining her energy. When she does find out, she leaves her traveling companion in the middle of the night.
From there, I'm not sure where she'll go. There are many places she could go with this. I have 50K to fill. It'll be interesting.
