I hit the halfway point just before midnight last night! I was so excited! I'm behind where I wanted to be, but still in good shape. :D

Hit halfway last night! Yeah! My story is moving slower than I want, but I'm happy with where I am for NaNo.

I just crossed the halfway point myself. I am actually trying to get done early, so I can actually get back to my work-work. Glad to have some happy company! (One day I'll be one of those people that write it all in one day!)

Me too! Halfway as of 3 minutes ago. My story's nowhere NEAR halfway done, though...

Halfway- but many miles to go! It feels good, though.

Congrats to all and keep those fingers moving. (and take a walk or two, my butt is starting to conform to the shape of my cheap office chair.)

Halfway! The actual plot I plotted out in the beginning of NaNo will actually be taking place. I've spent the last 25,000 words on the lead up, and now, the actual conflict is beginng to take hold. It's a marvelous place to be at in the moment. I think I passed 25,000 yesterday, but I'm getting really ahead and that's making me happy.

Halfway, late last night. The thing's a sprawling mess but it's mine and it's getting finished!

I think, right at about 150k words even, I just hit the halfway point of my own project and inspiration. I know not quite what this thread is about, but I needed to post somewhere, since momentum is getting tough to find sometimes with a lot done, but a lot still ahead of me.

Thank you to the people at the Tukwila write-in at Starbucks! The calling out on hitting the 150k mark was just what I needed.

----------

I seem to have found myself working on a trilogy for my first NaNo. Huh.

2009: Dawn of Steam
Book1: First Light (finished)
Book2: Gods of the Sun (finished)
Book3: House of the Rising Sun (in progress)

25k! It's the first milestone that I've hit early! And not just a day early, but 2 days early! I think it's my mini miracle for this month!

I am so determined to win this year! If I could get done early with the 50k, I would be thrilled!

Keep up the great work everyone!

Onward and upward with the word count!

First post, not sure how to do it. Yes, I'm very slightly over the half-way mark in work-count today.

And another thing... I posted my updated count just minutes before the 00:00 GMT update on the word count standings worldwide, wh00t!!

Wheeee!
Cue Bon Jovi tunes now? The novel is beginning to take on a life of its own, and is no longer looking to be completed simply by living on a prayer.

25,099 words at present, and at least one scene left to be completed before the end of the night if at all possible. Hey, I have thirty minutes, right?
