I was hoping to come today and realized my husband has an event that I must go to, which we're leaving for at 3PM. I've got it in my book for the 14th though. Will miss meeting up and writing with you guys today. Go for it!!!

Two of us are already there.

Looking forward to seeing everyone else!

Also, on your way over, you can hear the HGO production of Britten's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" on 88.7 FM, so today is full of twice as much "win," as the kids say these days.

This year is going to be my first win. I'm well past the pace for it so far, and I have almost my entire plot planned out in advance.

I hope to be there if I finish up work in time.

Maxxgrl -- What a total bummer! I have had days like that. I live about 4 blocks from there, so if you are coming next Sat and need better, NON- GPS/mapquest, real person directions (lol), just let me know. :-)

Who did make it there? And should we all go next Sat the 14th?

It worked for me, especially being around inspirational high-word-count Wrimos. And having a black n tan whilst scribbling in a pub - simply loverly. And even though there was no fire in the fireplace - well, it was just nice.

Only caveat is that it's an old building with few electrical outlets. We made do by daisy chaining our power strips. So if you have a power strip - bring it!

=( I'm sorry that I missed out on this. Unfortunately, the weekend is the busiest time of the week for my line of work and there wasn't a way for me to get off. Hopefully I can make at least one of these Saturday write-ins before November is up.

Hope everyone had a good time!
