I find really interesting to meet new people, especially writers, but I can never figure out when people are going to be where. I dont know if I am the only one with this problem but I was hoping that you guys could post the dates, times and locations on here so they will be easily accessible. If you do please make it clear, thank you.

Sorry about that.
Really easy: the main write-in is Sunday morning between 10-12 at the Panera Bread Co. restaurant on International Speedway Boulevard. We're the bunch in the back by the restrooms (I've often wondered if that means anything). It is at the corner of ISB and Williamson.
There is another during the week, but it is a little more nebulous. I think Bruce is there on either Wednesday or Friday evenings, from 7-9. See you there.

How was it today? I'll be able to come next week and I'm really looking forward to it. I still don't have a laptop, but I'll come armed with pens and plenty of paper. My son moved & took his laptop with him, selfish bugger! =)

In a word, Lindlae: AWESOME! Everyone (there were 5 of us, and one Asian girl who tapped into our multi-plug, unasked.) We had introductions - Cathy was the only 'newbie' - then a little chat, and everyone got down to it. I got up once to use the bathroom and get a coffee refill, came back, and stood watching the others. Not a head raised. If I was a teacher, I'd give the whole group gold stars! =-)
See you Friday night at 6:00?

Is anybody going to Panera this Friday (11/13)? If so, I'm planning on coming over to see what's going on and meet some others who have accepted this challenge.

I'll be there, Ray, with extension cord and 6-way, from 6:00 - at least 8:00 PM. In the back, crowd allowing, with a laptop that has a red NaNo sticker on the lid.
Looking forward to seeing everybody that can make it!

See that, Charlie? Here's your chance!

I'm going to try and borrow a laptop so I can pound away with you guys, but that failing, I'll bring pen and paper - maybe use the time to sketch out the direction for the remaining two weeks.

I can't make it Friday, I don't think. I'm supposed to work that day at the middle school again, subbing for an aid in the room with the handicapped kids. It's very tiring. I did only a partial day last week and it just about killed me. I don't know how those women do it every day. I think I'd go out of my mind! I'm supposed to work 2 days next week (Th & Fri) and I'm wondering how I'm going to do it. UGH!
However, we're still on for Sunday, right? Same Bat Time, Same Bat Station? Lindlae

Friday night from 6:00 to 8:00 is a given during NaNovember, and Sunday mornings from 10:00 AM to noon, ALL YEAR LONG. Hope to see you then.

I was right about yesterday. I came home exhausted, drank a LARGE cup of coffee and lay down for a nap. I have 2 days next week that I am dreading..... But I need the $$, so I'll be there if the good Lord's willing and the Creek don't rise.
Did you know that refers to the Creek Indians, not a creek as in water? I didn't know that until a friend of mine (who's part Creek) explained it. So it's not as gramatically incorrect as it sounds. =)
