on a lark I peeked at the stats. our words are in the MILLIONS. Well yeah, if there's x number of us, and admittedly I'm crazy and a little ahead with 17k atm, but...MILLIONS! We currently have around 1.3 million words so far. That seems like a lot but when you divide it up into the 277 writers registered in the region (47% are doing NaNo for the first time) the numbe is less than 5,000 words per writer.
If everyone was on track we would have over three million words so far. So don't let the astronomical number fool you, and keep writing!
