Hmm, there's a quite a few up on the list already! Good going, no, great going!

I keep getting distracted by reading what I have written, but have now trained my fingers not to follow the eye!

I have a friend who is determined that what she writes shall be quality, not just quantity. To each, his or her, own!

Happy typing!

I had just about crossed 10K on Thursday evening, and then got
blocked the whole of Friday and Saturday. This morning I realised
I was being a perfectionist about the middle part of my story,
so I exorcised that demon called perfectionism and the words began
to flow again.

See you all at the 20K mark soon !

I'm sitting pretty at 11,676 right now though it was a hard slough getting there. At least the novel's heating up now.

Congrats all of youz! Although jsrao looks like an outsider here - he should have started his own 30,000 club by now ;) Great Going Rao Sir - please share your secrets wit us!

Oh yes and Sanjay - you took 2 days off and still managed a 14k!! Not bad at all...

Whoever finished 20,000 first and starts the 20,000 club gets a cookie!! (jsrao - you are not a part of this challenge, your reputation precedes us :) )

Keep on writing fellas!

Count me in. Though I have just reached the plateau, it feels like an achievement in itself when you have exams and lots to study coz it's board year. Hope to catch up. Some of the word counts are over the moon! Let's pick up India's word count as a whole too! ( My 1st year as a Wrimo too makes it even more special!)

OK - I'm happy to wait at the finish line for you all! LOL!

Seriously, I just got lucky to strike a rich vein of inspiration, which is drying up right about now. What price the tortoise now?

I want, not to hit that 50K mark, but to go on and complete my novel. It's about half done right now, the finishing bits are proving tricky. How to tie up the action neatly, how to keep the attention going through what is a gentle family tale. I haven't even firmed up my target audience, is it going to be for adults or aimed at a HP kind of audience?

Wish me luck?

Just reached 11k now. I am behind schedule but am able to write more these days. Is it me or are the words just coming out better and in less time.

I am about 5k behind schedule, so 10k doesn't seem that great anymore :(

Slow day at work, so definitely going to cross 20k today, but in my ideal world, I'll hit 21k (in a REALLY optimistic scenario, 22k), by the end of today.
