Borders near Lakeside Mall. November 13-15. Nov. 13 Friday: 3:00-5:00 Nov. 14 Saturday: 9:00-2:00 Nov. 15 Sunday: 9:00-2:00 Meet in the cafe. Invite as many friends (non-NaNos too) as you want. If you want, bring money for the Borders cafe to thank them for the free wifi. If you can come, please RSVP with the time and date of when you will be present. Also, since last week's French Press experiment worked out so well for a number of Wrimos (good coffee, good food, and super laptop friendly, with outlets out on the patio to enjoy the weather) We will be doing it again this friday from 6pm till 11, when the baristas start getting grumpy and throw us out so they can close. (Joking... the staff there is all very nice) and if we can get enough folk together, we will be writing in there on Sunday morning as well. All are welcome, and if anyone is feeling ambitious, you can always write a bit at borders, take a break for dinner, and come write with us at French Press...
What's the worst that could happen? You get ahead of your word count? Go for it!
Again, that's French Press Coffee house, 3236 williams Blvd, Kenner on friday from 6pm till closing. Hope to see some more wrimos there!

Near Lakeside Mall, eh? Would that be in walking distance from there or would it involve walking across a freeway or something?
I ask because Tulane and Loyala run a shuttle to Lakeside Mall on Saturdays, so there's a chance I may be able to make it (and the rest of the Tulane/Loyola NaNoers, too).
----------Don't mind the lack of word count. I'm writing by hand, because a spiral is easier to carry around than a laptop for those moments when I need to heed the call of nature (my nature being to write).

When you are at Lakeside, facing the memorial, look to your left and see Veterans BLVD.
Walk until you see Payless ShoeSource.
When you reach the "strip mall," you should see a borders behind Payless.
If you're still lost, the friendly people in Payless will gladly help you out!

Most likely, the French Press gathering on sunday will start about 9am, and last till everyone leaves to watch the Saints game at around noon...
Okay, maybe it's just me that will leave to watch the game, but who could have anticipated the Saints would be 8-0 when we agreed to do NaNoWriMo?
Anyhow, I will be there from 9-noon, others are welcome to stay there later.
