Hi Guys,

Just interested to see if any of you have found any weird places that were amazing for getting your novel out of your brain and onto the page. The reason I ask i that today I wrote in several seemingly difficult places to write and knocked out nearly 4000 words without even trying that hard.

I was taking part in my friend's birthday day of fun today and wrote in...

1) A very noisy bar full of footie and rugby supporters who seemed ready to riot at any moment.
2) A bowling alley - in between 'bowls'.
3) Jimmy Chungs - in between silly tourists, noodles and jellies.
4) An impromptu car ride to Glasgow Airport and back to collect my friend's sister from her hols - in between four people, a suitcase, some fruit pastilles and some very lousy but funny singing that made the iKEA van man look at us funny.
5) A bus - in between some rather smelly passengers and a very loud dog.

Am I the only one who gets stuff done in the crazy parts of town or is the universe just giving me lots of crazies to ''eviscerate in fiction'' as the man says! :)

"To see that your life is a story while you're in the middle of living it may be a help to living it well. It's unwise, though, to think you know how it's going to go or how it's going to end. That's only to be known when it's over" (Le Guin)
