It's starting to shape up some, so I'll be proud that I'm the first person to 30k!

Although, they're busy cooking up plot twists all their own...and I think I need them to *stop.*

Just hit the big 3-0. Going to try to stay up all night and get as far as I can ... I've decided that I need to be done by the end of the week, so I have time to get some other stuff done. I really don't want to go to Florida naked because I didn't have time to get the clothes I will need :)

So, here we go!

Edit: Made it to 4:15am, added 8,257 words after this post, approximately 13k words since 4:20pm Sunday. I am exhausted! But also exhilarated!

Hit 30,000 on the 13th, but didn't realise this forum was here until today! If it's supposed to get easier from here, why has it been so difficult to get started today...

Whoa... it took a while to write the last 5000 words. How frustrating! Well, even stranger is that my 30000th word was the same as my 25,000th. It's "believe", again! Well, have to put in another 15 minutes before hitting the sack. Happy writing everyone!

I hit 30000 about five minutes ago. The 30000 word was girls in a description of the relationship of the two girls.

I made it last night. My 30,000th word was 'says'. As in, I should continue to pretend I don't understand anything She says.

I can't believe I have written over 30,000 words about an imaginary squid invasion. I have always imagined myself having completed writing a novel, but I never imagined myself writing one. This is way cool. Thanks for writing with me. Hopefully some of you will be at the Lakewood Library write in. I'll be there as soon as I can get all of the pesky kids out of my classroom.

My 30,000th word (on Thursday morn) was a name: "Grant", as in Ulysses S., who appears in this story. On to 35K!
