Today was my most productive, less distracted day. Its Sunday, so plenty of time to write, of course. But I hit that zone... you get in that zone and you just WRITE. You've hit literary GOLD and you need to get it OUT of you.

Nearly 7000 words today, so far. I will try and get 10k out of me in a day. Then I earn a badge! WOO! But I actually don't know if I can write any more today.

I threw a space station into a planet today. Exciting FWOAR! I know. The evil character was abandoned by his evil masters; I killed MANY people through decompression, and my MC and his girlfriend propsed to each other, while trapped in the statin as it fell to a fiery death.

Wow. It was quite a powerful writing session for me.

I now need ice-cream

Too hot to be alive, let alone be thinking well enough to write.

Well I just had a hour or so of writing I got 1100 words down about and I to need ice-cream. A very hot day but on the writing front everything is looking good I am still only touching the edge of adventure but my MC is currently on a date with a old childhood friend (No my book is not romantic as such as a whole.) and he has also discovered something but he does not know what it is yet. the actual story is better than what I can say about it haha.
so all good so far having a break will be tapping the words up on the computer some more later

I haven't written so far today because I've been marauding around the city in cowboy costume, but I'll try to get my usual 2000 done tonight.

Well, everyone wants ice-cream on a day like today and I work at an ice-cream shop - I haven't managed to get any writing done yet, I'm too exhuasted. Hopefully after a cold shower I will be able to write something.

Thanks for the tip about David Jones for the evaporative cooler. We went to Chaddy and they had them there, so now I have that on one side and a fan on the other and my feet in a bucket of water. Still considering pricing a ceiling fan plus installation for the lounge room.

In the morning I wrote a couple of hundred words (I think it was around 300 but can't be sure). I was feeling passionate and inspired.

In the afternoon I went to the circus to help out and they were completely disorganised. I gave them almost an hour to wait for the projector they said was arriving (that I was apparently using to paint a banner). I was annoyed, having given them the specific time of 1-3pm as my availability. I told them that even if the projector arrived I would only have an hour left so if they wanted my help they'd need to find something I could do straight away. I moved one tressel (sp?) table and was then asked if I could sew. I can't sew so I was sent home. It was unbearably hot and while I was waiting in the foyer (air conditioned) I had to talk to two girls, one of them someone I was specifically hoping to avoid.

The venue is a Tin Shed and it gets EXTREMELY hot, also extremely cold in winter, when the rain and hail come through the roof.

I wrote a few more words when I got back (literally) and then realised I had updated my word count to be a couple of hundred words more than it actually was. (wtf?!!)

Because I'm not feeling particularly inspired by the books I'm supposed to be writing about which inspire me I will have to read said books again to refresh my memory and enthusiasm.

My mum, who is working on her thesis, now makes me listen to how many words SHE has written whenever I trouble her with my own word count. She also wants to work collaboratively with me on "Tin Shed Trapeze". I'm thinking it could be a collection of short stories instead of a novel.

For a steaming hot day, I managed to get a couple thousand words done reaching just over 10k! Not bad for a 15 year old who technically should be doing homework now, 'ey? =D

Can I also note that I didn't start until two days ago? Until then I had heaps of homework to do, so since then I've been typing like mad to catch up. I'm getting there! Wooohoo for my first NaNoWriMo!

A poor day for me. Only 1800 or so words and they were done during a lul in my shift in the wee hours of this morning. I was buggered when i got to bed this morning and didn't get up until almost 6 this evening. Brain is way too fluffy to string three words together so I' m going to leave it at that... it's over the daily minimum anyway.

I'll try get some more done at work tonight and see how I go on Monday night's shift and then I'm on HOLIDAYS! I'll finally be able to jump into this without battling chronic jet lag. :) Watch me word count soar. <-- insane optomisim speaking there lol.

On the other hand I'm expecting a big distraction to arrive by parcel post either tomorrow or Tuesday... something I've been waiting for for nine weeks. Must be strong.

Nice work indeed!

I've started late in the day, spent the hottest part in the air-conditioned lounge room watching cricket. I've currently got a dilemma....I need my main character to kill a person, but the previous 1500 words have made it nearly impossible for my main guy to get angry at his mate and thus kill him. I'll have to think of something quickly.

Best of luck to all!

Courtesy of hangover and heat I managed a grudging, grumpy 2K+ where MC meets corporate villainy for the first time and she is pretty surly about it I must say.

Was pretty productive at write in, ended up 556 works short of 25K, of course I had to write more tonight so I could hit that halfway milestone. I had to write some pretty central and emotional scenes today and I am fairly sure the writing is total rubbish and fails totally to convey what I wanted. But I have words, 25 138 of them to be exact.

Between yesterday's write-in (thankyou, Bella!) and this afternoon, I had pretty productive weekend.

Not bad for being a single mum this weekend as hubby was away, could only write as if it were a weekday, so no chance to really pull ahead.
But my two MCs have hit Thailand so that's good. Gotta run, bubs crying!

Easily the most productive day today. Wrote 4,500 and am close to 25k and a bottle of gin. Scarlett's write-ins are teh awesomest.

Today was good. I did almost two thousand words, and made up for my slacking off last night. My characters are in a band, and they had a particularly good gig tonight. I was proud. -tear-

8,709 for me today. A little below average. I broke delyra's word count (by 79 words XD), bringing me to #1 in Melbourne wordcount-wise, so my goal for the weekend was reached!

I think I'm gonna go collapse now.

I didn't do too well today, but with some help from Write Or Die I did get 2000 words written. (Although 1000 of them were completely unrelated, one of my characters was writing fanfiction - I needed to shift my focus to get anything done.)

I did what worked out to be about 2500 words. In the time that it was actually going on, it worked out to be the most efficient day I've had yet, besides the first day.

Got down 295 words in the morning, then the girlfriend's birthday took priority.
I wanted to have a lot more down so I could use Tuesday as a breather, but now thats not going to happen.

How noisy is it? I've been considering putting on in my bedroom, hiding it in the corner, but that really depends on noise levels...

In terms of wordage, I managed nearly 5K, which puts me just over 9K for the weekend. I'm past the halfway mark! Hooray!

Write off today. I DMed, which was fun but I was so sick for some reason I was tucked up in bed by about 10 and asleep by about 10.05pm. So. No word count. And I am going to have to change my story because this one doesn't have 50k in it, but once I get the study out of the way, I will be able to make up word count without really thinking about it. I hope...
