Just a quick thank you to all three Naper MLs! It's a hard job - a job that few even consider taking on with good reason! We may not know what it takes to juggle home, work, your novel, children, AND planning write-ins, kick-off parties, and TGIO parties but we can all agree that it takes some serious effort!
...and possibly latent suicidal tendencies!
Regardless of exactly how you are getting motivated we all thank you for getting us motivated!
Here's to even more fun this November - thanks to all three of you!

I may be new to this region but I'm certainly not new to appreciating all the hard work MLs all over the world do! One of the Chicago MLs, Tim, likes to say that ML work is like herding cats and I think he's right. But I can already see that this region has a team of crack cat herders!
Thank you Tim, Katherine, and Dave, you all are doing a fine job and I thank you for it!

Thank you all for your kind words. You're a great group to work with. I'm enjoying co-MLing more than I expected to. (Having two great co-MLs helps.)
And, for some strange reason, the phrase 'herding cats' has made it into my novel both this year and last. :)
It even made it through editing after critiquecircle.com comments, so is still in last year's book. But we're not even thinking about editing, right?
Back to the novel....

Thank you all--I can tell you that what keeps me going as an ML are the terrific people I get to meet and do all these fun things with. You are wonderful, friendly and very talented people and I appreciate all of you! I especially appreciate Katherine, Dave as my co-MLs and those folks who have made the extra effort to help out thus far this year, particularly Lloyd (Grayraven), Barb (babsy55), Barry (FinbarrMcG), Sabrina (bookgrrl), Jacob (Raskolnikov93) and Joe (Corrupted Flame). A shout-out too to all the members of the 2009 Pledge.
And many thanks as well to Mary Bannon, Programs Coordinator at the Naperville Public Library, our first great library partner/sponsor; BERaven, my ML mentor and friend of the region (the original ML for Naperville); and Brian Chapman (stout_chap), a former co-ML of the region who cheers us on from afar.
And I... wait, what's that music... no! I have more people to thank.... Hey...!
...
