How are people backing up their stories?
I chose wordpress.com and created a blog separate from my own. I have set the privacy setting to make it where only the people I authorize can view it, but this way I have access to my story whenever I am on line. Other ideas?

I hand-write (so I always have that copy) and email myself everything every few thousand words. I've got a lot of space in my Gmail account, and almost five books in there. I also post my very favorite scenes on my LJ so if all else fails, at least I have my favorite parts saved :)

I wrote a novel many many years ago in notebooks and I can't seem to transcribe them. I love actually handwriting, but getting them to computer is a royal pain. Everytime I start I keep want to change the writing.
I never thought about google docs. I can't seem to understand it much though.
