I'm curious about how to use the scramble feature on Open Office, if anyone knows...? I don't use Microsoft Word. The FAQ's page says how to do it for Microsoft Word but I don't know if that translates to Open Office Writer. There is a similar tool on Open office called 'wildcards' but it's not scrambling the words.

Anyone have any ideas?

THANKS :-)

In Open Office you use the "Regular Expressions" option where the instructions say to use Wild Cards. To see the "Regular Expressions" checkbox, you need to click the "More Options" button on the Find/Replace window.

The other critical part is that the "Find" term is exactly: [a-zA-Z0-9]

Include the square brackets and do not include any spaces in the find!

I just followed the steps on the FAQ in Open Office 3.1 (changing Wild Cards to Regular Expressions) and it worked perfectly.
