That would usually be a free night, but the 4th is the cast party for the theater company I'm in. Saturday Nov. 5 would be good though.

I love Chinese buffet, but the only one I really go to for the food is in the McKee City area along Rte. 322/40 (the Black Horse Pike). Sharon Zheng's for those who know it -- dinner includes a made-to-order sushi bar. I'd be in heaven if we end up there, but I'd drive as far as Hammonton if necessary.

Hammonton is the best choice, really, because it's as close to a middle ground as we're going to get. I'm up for the Chinese place in Hammonton - we'll see what everyone else has to say about it, and we'll pick a date around next Friday, maybe? So we can see what day the most people will be available.

I'm totally up for doing this. If you made it to 50,000 words and you are a girl can we wear a tiara? I think I might be more motivated to make it to 50,000 if tiaras are involved.

Tiaras can definitely be arranged! AND crowns!!! Ok maybe we'll only be able to get a few but we can share :)

Oh you are deadly clever. I HAVE a tiara and no earthly reason to wear it... but now I cannot bear to miss this chance. What have you done to me??? GAHHHH *runs off screaming down the hallway in a most unladylike fashion*

I'm horribly upset now. I'd like to go to the TGIO party, but I don't think I can make it on the 5th. Also, I want a tiara!

Unfortunately, I am about 75% out for the 5th, and I think the 6th as well. The 4th will be difficult too, but I could drive to Bloomsburg very late. I've paid for a Wilderness First Aid training course, but due to recent technical difficulties, I'm without a ride to Scranton. I may be able to get a ride but not sure yet. As it gets closer, it will be harder and harder to worm my way out of.

Thursday the 3rd is clear for me, as is Friday the 8th.

I wish we could make a decision quickly, there may be an awful lot riding on this. I would like to attend but I can't hold up long-standing plans and non-refundable deposits forever.....

I like the idea of a Thursday. My weekends tend to get all mucked up with other obligations and such and having it on a Thursday would help keep the juggling to a minimum

Especially given the holiday season with all the obligations that entails, I'd prefer a weekday myself. Not sure if I could make any given day (people are already filling my schedule for me :-P) but the odds on a weekday are much higher.

Thursday evenings are the one evening a week that really does not work for me - especially in December, when it's almost time for Advent Lessons and Carols and Christmas Eve. And I know I've already got one holiday party with the preschool where I work a lot, but I can't remember what day it is offhand - I'll have to check when I go there this afternoon. Mostly weekday evenings work for me though.

ETA: The preschool party is on the 8th, so I can't make a party that day either.

I believe that the buffet in Hammonton is the "Jumbo". Which is just how I feel after eating there. : )

Yesss, Jumbo Buffet, there's also a little italian place on 54, as you go toward the railroad tracks from the expressway...

I think some of us are just going to have to accept the fact that not everyone is going to be able to make it.....i'm expecting it myself, although i may call a Camden County reunion at some point in January..... :)

Yes well, I don't own a tiara, but I do own a stovepipe hat. Will that work?

If the first week in December is too hectic, is there any reason we couldn't have our TGIO party on the second Friday of the month? I really want to meet all these cool writers whose encouragement helped keep me from throwing in the towel. And I'm still aiming for that tiara-wearing moment.

Have any decisions been made about this? I'd love to come but my husband is going to be away next week so I'll need to start a babysitter search soon if I'm going to pull it off. I'd really like to meet everyone since I haven't been able to get to a write in. Thanks. Michelle

I scheduled a write-in at the Treehouse on Monday, December 7 at the Treehouse since I have really gotten used to spending my Monday nights there. We could make that the unofficial TGIO party? Or one for folks in the Camden County area?

That sounds like fun - if it's not icky weather and I don't end up having some other commitment that I can't avoid (and we don't end up getting a more official TGIO party planned that evening) I'll plan on coming!

I may be able to do that, depending on when I get back from class and how far my mom feels like driving. (I think the Treehouse is something like an hour away from me @_@)

Anyone come up with anything official yet?
