If you're looking for local participants, we have a place for you! If you'll look under My NaNoWriMo, you'll find the regional forums, where you can find local Wrimos and arrange meetups on a closer scale.

Any local/regional group should be posted in its nearest regional lounge.

This is the group for the people that have stayed up hours on end, past the time their parents think there in bed. *grin* to write. Whether it be because you can't type during the day because of school or work or whether you just type contstantly into the night, this is the support group for you. Let's offer each other our support through the long hours of the monring where not even coffee cam keep us awake forever.

Irony Note: I hate coffee. (I'm drinking soda instead)

Well, it's nearly the end - I'm probably going to fail miserably, unless a mircale happens in this next week, but I have at least quadrupled my original word count; which even if it is a small contribution is something that I can be proud of. When the alternative was probably not writing anything at all I feel that I'm entitled to a little pride. :)

The girl dogs FINALLY left today at 3:30 pm, after a 2:15 am run to the airport to pick up their family members, then a dog grandma breakdown, a 5 hour round trip to take them to their house because their Grandma just HAD to sleep in her bed immediately, instead of a- getting a fricking hotel room like rational folks do, b- coming home with me to sleep in our guest room, c- borrowing my car to drive themselves home or d- anything other than insisting that I drive them home at 3 am. The planned pick up was 10 am but they arrived at 3:30 pm, sans boarding payment, Julia had a minor breakdown, ATM's were emptied, and now I'm washing clothes, cookied peanut butter dog cookies, and packing for our trip to the Outer Banks in the morning to remove our stuff from the back of the bookstore so that they can be open for Thanksgiving week, and going to see 2012!!!! and then back here on Tuesday at which point I will sit down and hammer out the odd 40,000 words and make our deadline.

That's the plan. LOL! Sorry, I couldn't even type that with a straight face. Sigh, we WILL MAKE OUR DEADLINE!!!

Wags- Juls and Cordy boy- who is completely crashed out and luxuriating in the fact that he is once again, an only dog. until tomorrow when he'll be with his best mate Finnegan, the 165 pound Newfoundland. Shhhh, don't tell him. I'm afraid that he'll burst into tears.

I follow Shinto, obviously. Hehe. -_-;)

Anyhow,... realy the reason I follow Shinto is that there are so many gods I could go to a Christian church and not feel guilty, I could just say that their god was one of mine. :D and cuz Shinto is so cool.

I am not completely certain if this is the right forum for this question or not.

If there are any NaNo participants who also hang out at the AVEN forums, I have a burning question: has AVEN totally crashed? For several days now every time I try to connect, there is an extended pause, and then Firefox reports that their server timed out because it was taking too long to respond.

Does anyone know what is going on?

Thing is -- I need to connect with the AVEN forums as a source of NaNo '09 character research because my female MC is asexual and her character profile still has some holes in it.

Just wondering of anyone else shares my passion for martial arts :)
I practice Koga Ninjutsu, Kyushu and want to start Capoeira, Systema and Wushu
Oh and anyone do tricking/ parkour?

Any Bookmoochers out there? I remember there were a bunch last year!
