Nikki turned away again, holding back a curse. She didn’t want that, she had no idea what she would do with herself if she didn’t have her job. She had quickly run out of arguments. There was only one option left. It was risky, and required a lot of balls on her part. Just thinking about doing it made her shutter, but it was the only option she had left. She steeled herself and turned to face her dad once more…
“Daddy please!” She whined, a pout forming on her face. She fell to her knees, clasped her hands together, and shook them at her father. “Pleeeeeeeease don’t make me go! I’ll do anything! I’ll clean the house, all of it! I’ll do everyone’s laundry! I’ll walk Razzi and take poop duty! I’ll do all of that! Just please, please don’t make me go!”
