The ad had said it needed testers for a new adult ADHD drug. But I knew from the description of symptoms, it wasn’t for ADHD. But I was hoping it would answer my questions to what I really had and what it was really advertising. So there I stood, outside the doors of the drug company called Fizz, wanting answers, and a cure. All I had to do then was push open the doors and do whatever they wanted, but some odd feeling was holding me back.
You see, about five or six years ago, something changed in me. I was walking outside this same building, my head down and my thoughts in my recent loss of a job, when it happened. I stopped for a moment to pick up a discarded penny with hopes that it would pick up my luck. When suddenly, I got dizzy and fell to the ground, but I didn’t touch the sidewalk; I didn’t even land anywhere near the sidewalk.
I woke up outside my house, lying in what looked like my wife’s prize winning rose bush. Needless to say it wasn’t prize winning anymore. I instantly got to my feet and brushed off the dirt on the back of me and looked around fearful. See at that moment, I didn’t know what had happened, but as the days grew on, I began moving around just like that.
One minute I’d be sitting on my bed, scratching my back or head, thinking about the shower I had to take and then the next thing I knew I would be in my shower with just my boxers on! A couple of times I would scare my wife or slip and fall backwards into our tub. It was then that I figured out what was happening. I was teleporting.
