Jerry was with her. He was lying next to her in bed, his hair mussed up like it was in his sleep. His breathing was regular and even. She watched him sleep and cuddled up to him. He woke up a bit and put his arm around her. She could smell his scent of soap and leather. She stroked his face and gave him a gentle kiss on the cheek.
