Brief Author Bio: Hey, everyone! I'm Fireblade K'Chona, a.k.a. dreamwaffles, and I'm totally psyched to do NaNo for my fifth year running. (I may die, as I'm in college and am taking organic chemistry...still, it's worth it!) My previous NaNos, in respective order, are Emeraldeyes (a silly stock fantasy book), House of Winds (another silly fantasy book), The Star Frigate (a sci-fi book where I went crazy over sailboats and spaceships), and Wind Between the Worlds (a sequel to House of Winds). This year I'm planning to write the story of the first human to ever attend an intergalactic university. Her roommate looks like an octopus and her best friend there communicates through light...and that's the least of the strange things that are going to happen to her. Best of luck to you guys! |

Synopsis: Keeping Kosher In Space: A Story Of Telelo University
Robin is the first human ever to go to Telelo, an intergalactic university in the Orion galaxy. She's roommates with a seven-foot tall, nine-legged furry arboreal octopus, and becomes best friends with a giant bug who communicates with light and whose poisonous stinger actually secretes caffeine. Who knows what's going to happen? (I certainly have no clue.)
