Hey, I’m Tanya and I’m a cronic-knitter who has gotten into beading and learning about Spinning and have fallen for the joy of knitting socks (have one from two pairing on the needles currently). I enjoy meeting new people and developing making new friends since I feel MUCH better about myself and confidence and anxious to get out there and socialize.

Love Zombie movies (especially after I’ve eaten since watching them makes me hungry) and Werewolf (Shifter/Shape Shifter) & Vampire movies though I’ve seen pretty much every angle or bent on werewolves and vampires out there. I’m pretty picky and hard on tv shows and movies that do them, how I would say wrong, or just differently or campy, I can’t help it – if the fangs are in the wrong spot it drives me completely nuts that I can’t over look it!! Surprisingly, the 6-10 movies I always seem to be repetitively watching are more often world disaster movies, alien invasion or dimensional invaders. Since I can remember I’ve always preferred the less common things, the abnormal things and the one of the kind items … probably why I am working towards my goal of opening officially my Etsy Shop after the Holidays.

Writing …

Nano ’07, I guess it would be now, I surprised myself when plotting my story out that I wasn’t writing my usual vampires & were thingies stories set in modern life trying to pay the bills and deal with their inner struggles. I was writing a mystery with a bunch of were-thingies and vampires as the suspects! Imagine my surprise. Apparently becoming an avid reader with Jim Butcher’s The Dresden Files, the summer before, really made a subconscious mark on me.

Life has changed and circumstances adjust and settle to the bottom of the bag like a half finished bag of stale Lays Chips, making participation last year in Nano impossibility. This year, it’s been a 180 for me and how I’m living, one of which the hubby (DH = darling hubby) doesn’t always seem to be comfortable with after all these months. Tough shit hun ;) So despite my rational thinking and tossing out my practically I am surprising the shit right out of me for once, I don’t want to be chained to this computer.

My goal is to get half way to the 50K and make a dent in the live journal character journal I set up a while ago for my PBP RPG character Reagan Davidson, that I really miss especially writing with other writers. I am extremely slowly becoming hopeful at the possibility of successfully converting the RPG version of Rags to my world of were-thingies. Its tricky and I am realizing I have to get back to the research of feline breeds, and that entire mess of world development.
