A Whole New Trend... A Whole New Set of Rules...

A world in the very near future. Where technology is advanced but the myths that are timeless still live amongst the discoveries. Where things like ghosts are still scary but only if you believe in them. Santa and the Tooth Fairy are in children's imaginations. Technology has kept the kids busy, especially the teenagers, who scramble for the next best thing. They want the latest in gadgets, fashion and entertainment. Nothing less will keep them happy.

Sound familiar?

But there is one folklore that scientists have found to be true. It isn't ghosts, banshees, incubi or even dragons. No. Science has found the new trend:

Vampires.

Vampires have found to be real, walking the earth amongst humans. Some are friendly and some aren't. Some feed on animals and some don't. But guess what? The teenage population doesn't care. Hell, they want to be Vampires. Millions of teenagers scramble for the latest operation. To make them look and act like Vampires. Without all that nasty bloodlust of course. They gain the sharp senses, the wicked fangs and the insane speed. Their faces change with the venom and their skin pales, but becomes flawless. There is no immortality. But who really wants that? Especially in a world where the trend changes the next day?

But what happens to the originals? The ones who were bitten? The ones who these teenagers are trying to be like?

Well... they're being hunted. Being captured and being essentially... milked for the venom or virus that runs through their veins. Because guess what? The original serum created for this fashion trend? It's only temporary. And when demand comes... they must supply. And who is the source? The originals. So whatever company that is doing this can breed more and more. And make more and more money.

Scary, huh?

The rag tag group of Vampires, or at least as much as Vampires can be called rag tag, are running. They don't really know one another very well. At least the entire group doesn't. But they all have a common purpose. To survive. Because those who have been caught... don't come back.

But who are they running from? A group of hunters called The Winda. An elite force that is trained, nearly like Vampires themselves. But without the true genetics. And they will stop at nothing to catch their assignment, sometime working with one another, and sometimes working alone. Each Winda is assigned to a specific Vampire. End of story.

The Vampires try to outrun and out live their assigned Winda, trying to find sanctuary and an identity of themselves and whoever is chasing them. Can they find the source of their problems? Can they stop this slaughter for fashion? Or will they be caught and bottled just like their fellow brethren?
