Brief Author Bio: I have been a designer, waitress, soccer coach, auction car driver, file clerk, camp counselor, caricaturist, dancer, and walk-around Pocohantes. I was, and still am, a 'serial freelancer.' Though I've meandered along my path as an artist, I value each and every experience. |

Excerpt: Between Friends
Fifty cents seems a bit much for the deal but what else can she do? Etta had promised Shannon she'd be there. Etta glances down at Bernice’s silver watch, hanging like a chunky bangle, loose around her wrist. The watch face glimmers—bright white against Bernice's pale skin. Etta is surprised at the actual color of Bernice's arm. Sort of a peachy tone. Still, Etta wonders: How can anything be whiter than Bernice?
