The sun did not rise this morning. Dark clouds strangled the threads of warmth from reaching the lush peaks of the southern mountains. It was here that the wind whipped through the canyons and trees as though it were packs of wolves, stalking relentlessly for prey. The rumbling thunder shook the old home, disturbing the solitary soul who resided here.
