Brief Author Bio:

The first time I thought I might try NaNoWriMo was actually in 2004. But I told myself that I didn't want to sign up for something I knew I wouldn't finish. I wrote three thousand words and had given up after the first week.

Since then, I have learned the strategery of NaNoWriMo, and I've won every year. I think Val would accuse me of cheating, but I've used the same characters every year. That's a total of four minus one (which was more dreadful than the others) NaNoWriMo novels which used the same characters, and I had told the whole story.

This year during NaNoWriMo, I am getting married. (Wise decision to do it during NaNo: Yes, I know.) But when I considered the fact that I was having spontaneous fits of NaNo Joy on October 1... I figured that my failure to do NaNo might cause me to spontaneously combust.

Furthermore, when I considered the fact that I have two ten-hour plane flights to NaNo in... and I've known myself to get 2K in an hour and 10K in a day without that advantage... I can probably catch up... probably...
