Brief Author Bio: The first time I thought I might try NaNoWriMo was actually in 2004. But I told myself that I didn't want to sign up for something I knew I wouldn't finish. I wrote three thousand words and had given up after the first week. Since then, I have learned the strategery of NaNoWriMo, and I've won every year. I think Val would accuse me of cheating, but I've used the same characters every year. That's a total of four minus one (which was more dreadful than the others) NaNoWriMo novels which used the same characters, and I had told the whole story. This year during NaNoWriMo, I am getting married. (Wise decision to do it during NaNo: Yes, I know.) But when I considered the fact that I was having spontaneous fits of NaNo Joy on October 1... I figured that my failure to do NaNo might cause me to spontaneously combust. Furthermore, when I considered the fact that I have two ten-hour plane flights to NaNo in... and I've known myself to get 2K in an hour and 10K in a day without that advantage... I can probably catch up... probably... |

Synopsis: The Wedding Volcano
On November 1, 2009, a happy couple gets married in Baton Rouge, LA; on the second, they depart on their wonderful Hawaii Honeymoon. Once they are already over open water, the long-slumbering Yellowstone Volcano begins to erupt.
Back home in Baton Rouge, their friends realize that the happy couple may have just flown into the biggest natural disaster in history, but as the ash begins to fall on Baton Rouge, they quickly realize that they have bigger problems.
The newlyweds, upon a panicked arrival, begin to realize exactly how difficult it will be to get home, and how very different their life is going to be now that they've made it to dry land - wherever that dry land might happen to be.
