Coffee has been a part of every aspect of Riley's life; from family and friends, victories and failures, to gains and losses, hello's and goodbyes.

It's a staple during meetings, project all-nighters, and Hell Month. The "usual" at afternoon chats, people-watching, and private talks. A crutch for those long drives, night-before cramming, and marathon blogging.

Riley can never imagine her life without coffee. She had waited until she was "the right age", followed the directions written on the back of the jar, and overcame the self-consciousness of having her lola supervise her every move.

This is her story, told through experiences of coffee.
