Sunrise

It was entirely too cold to sit outside, but that's what the woman had been doing all day. She was mostly ignored by people as she sat on the bench, although a few thought it odd that she just sat there watching the buses come and go. She wore an expensive fur lined coat and designer shoes.

A scruffy younger man settled beside her, several feet down the bench, trying to look like he had some idea what he was doing. He eyed the latest bus as it rolled past.

"Most people get on the bus when it stops," commented the woman. "Or did you miss it?"
