Synopsis: Wobble Pair

High School senior Malene Rogers is still reeling from the shock of an unlikely paranormal inheritance. As the last member of a powerful lineage of Priestesses, her responsibility is to rig the trials of immortal criminals in favour of the political agendas of the esoteric High Court. Unbeknownst to the Court, a chance genetic mutation permits her to directly disobey the orders of a Judge, throwing the immortal judicial system into utter disarray.

The failure of the High Court's breeding program comes on the cusp of one of the most important trials the immortal world has ever seen. The Trickster, inspiration for nearly all immortal rebellions and a serious thorn in the Court's side, has finally been arrested and forced into a parole period of mortal life: sending him on a collision course with Malene. Despite incredible odds, Algernon manages to charm his executioner, and form a partnership that all sides of the immortal conflict are set dead against.

Malene must rely on every ounce of her cunning and Algernon's questionable knowledge in order not only to survive, but to give humanity a voice against a multi-generational reign of oppression.
