Synopsis: Don't Be Fooled by the Glamour

Three seemingly unrelated stories of love, life, and dealing with the real word.

Lewis Abrams is a thirty year old, college English professor. He teaches a class full of engineers - one in particular catches his interest. A genius. A science protégé. Together they form a relationship and Lewis must face his fears of love, being in the closet, and letting go of himself enough to let just one person in.

Gail Blakeley is a successful, both in her career as a chef and with her boyfriend. Her friends are all the same - either in a serious relationship or married. She's never had a family of her own and now she is meeting with the boyfriend's family and being pulled into their crazy little world as their engagement and subsequent wedding looms overhead.

Madam Sam is a sporadic, gender bending [stretching the bounds of gender, norms, and expectations] store owner. A small café/book store. A girl comes into her shop and the sparks immediately fly when they meet each other. But she is uncomfortable with his fluidness when it comes to gender. She pressures Sam to choose, to be one or the other, either one would be fine she's still love him - so she claims.

Can these three cope with their lives without each other? Will their difficulties finally bring them to intrude on each other?
